Premium Japenese Green Tea - Shinzo was born from a desire to introduce people to the very best that Japanese green tea has to offer.
A premium Sencha from the South of Japan. Grown amongst the misty hills of Kagoshima and made using only the most prized first flush leaves which are carefully steamed to produce this delicate and fresh Sencha.

Brewing: Use boiled water cooled to as near 75C as you can get. Steep leaves for less than 1 min. If you use water over 80C or brew for too long tannic (bitter) compounds will be released - making a nasty bitter-tasting drink!. Detailed instructions enclosed.
If you make your tea correctly you will experience the 'umami' - the mythical 'fifth taste' that defines Japanese cuisine.
