About Crazy Candy Factory
Crazy Candy Factory is a brand of Hancocks Ltd sweets. Hancocks was stablished in 1962 when Ray Hancock and his wife Liz started wholesaling confectionery from their UK sweet shop in Shepshed near Loughborough. Ray had realised the benefits of buying sweets and chocolates in bulk and filled every bit of space in the building with confectionery so that he could supply other local retailers at a profit. The cash and carry business soon grew, moving to new premises three times before 1970.
Today, Hancock's head office is located on Jubilee Drive in Loughborough, still close to the origins of the company with the Loughborough cash and carry next door to it.
Today Hancocks is the largest wholesaler of sweets in the UK and continues to expand its range and premises around the UK.
